In the heart of challenging times during the COVID-19 pandemic, we founded the CAM Heroes initiative as a beacon of gratitude and recognition for our essential staff and healthcare workers. Born out of a deep appreciation for those on the front lines, this initiative was our way to say thank you—to honor the courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our team members who stepped up when the world needed them most.
What started as a gesture of thanks has blossomed into an enduring program, celebrating the heroes among us who continue to make a difference every day. At CAM, we believe in empowering smiles and transforming lives, a mission that each of our valued team members embodies through their dedication to making a positive impact.
The CAM Heroes program is more than just a tribute; it's a reflection of our culture of appreciation, showcasing the stories of those who go above and beyond. It's about shining a light on the individuals who, through their exceptional service and compassion, contribute to our collective mission of enhancing health and wellbeing.

Debbie Esposito, LPN
To kick off the CAM Heroes program, we would like to introduce you to one of the greatest, newly added members of our staff. Debbie Esposito is a LPN (Licenced Practical Nurse) at one of our nursing home clients. She’s an extremely hard working individual, who is always on time and thoughtful. She picks up many late shifts, and is always there to help on short notice if needed. I can tell that she takes pride in what she does, and so can everyone around her. CAM would personally like to thank Debbie and express how much we appreciate her hard work. We are proud to have Debbie as a part of our team! She truly is a CAM Hero!
Thomasina White-Nicholas, LPN
The next member of our program is Thomasina White-Nicholas. Thomasina is a fantastic LPN and a fantastic person. She has a great personality and is a fun person to be around in general. All of the patients she cares for absolutely adore her. Thomasina has been an LPN since 1986, she has the most experience in nursing than any of our employees, and it shows! She works very hard picking up many shifts at two of our facilities in Manhattan. We can tell that Thomasina takes pride in what she does, and enjoys helping people. We are proud to have Thomasina as a part of our team! She truly is a CAM Hero!
Cherise Woodley, HHA
Welcome Cherise Woodley to the CAM Heroes program. Cherise works for us as a HHA in one of our beautiful assisted living communities. Cherise goes to work everyday with a big smile on her face. Residents love to see her every time she’s at the facility. Cherise has a great passion for caring for the elderly, and with over 17 years experience, she is definitely one of our best aides! Beyond this, Cherise is one of the hardest working employees on staff. Doing overtime every week, and always picking up shifts, Cherise truly is a CAM Hero. We are glad to have her as a part of our team!
Dorota Zabrocka, LPN
Celebrating Dorota Zabrocka as our latest CAM Hero. On her third year as a dedicated school nurse with us, Dorota exemplifies the highest standards of professional commitment and compassionate care. Every day, she arrives fully prepared to embrace any challenge with her remarkable expertise and a nurturing demeanor. With over 19 years of nursing experience, Dorota's exceptional approach to child care is evident in every interaction. Her ability to provide attentive and personalized care to each child not only demonstrates her immense skill but also her genuine empathy and understanding. Her unwavering dedication to the well-being of students has made a significant impact on countless young lives. CAM is honored to recognize Dorota Zabrocka as a member of our CAM Heroes family. Her steadfast reliability and heartfelt dedication to nurturing the next generation are truly inspirational. LaToya Brown, Housekeeper/Soon to be CNA
CAM would like to introduce our 2nd CAM Hero. LaToya Brown is a Housekeeper in one of our nursing home clients. This means on a daily basis she is saving people from viruses by personally going in and disinfecting. LaToya goes into work every day eager, and ready to start. She is also in the process of getting her CNA license. When she does get it, I have no doubt in my mind that she'll be great at that too. We are proud to have LaToya as a part of out team! She truly is a CAM Hero!
Debbie Miles-Brown, HHA
Our next hero is Debbie Miles-Brown. Debbie is a fantastic aide, passionate about helping others. Debbie has been a HHA since 2006, and has been with CAM for about a year. The excitement and work ethic that she brings with her every day is truly superior! Residents, co-workers, managers, and directors all love her. Her expertise certainly does not go unnoticed. Beyond this, Debbie has a fun personality, and hilarious sense of humor. She is sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone she comes in contact with! We are proud to have Debbie as a part of our team! She truly is a CAM Hero!

Introducing Ms. Q to our CAM Heroes lineup. Ms. Q brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role as a paraprofessional, offering invaluable support to children with developmental disabilities. Ms. Q also serves as a team lead at her site, where she actively coaches and empowers employees to reach their full potential. Her dedication is clearly shown in the way she tirelessly mentors and guides employees, fostering their growth and success. Ms. Q's genuine care and empathy shine through as she cares for students, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. CAM takes great pride in welcoming Ms. Q into our CAM Heroes family.
