Maintenance Mechanic

A biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development, production, and distribution of plasma-derived products is currently seeking dedicated professionals for several key roles. With a rich history of over 40 years in plasma product production and a global market presence in approximately 100 countries, we are committed to delivering the highest standards and therapies for patients and clinicians in hematology, immunology, neurology, and transfusion medicine.

General Duties:

  • Conduct testing and oversee the care and maintenance of all production equipment and GMP utilities.

  • Support all major capital projects involving equipment onboarding.

  • Ensure compliance of all applicable equipment within a preventative maintenance system.

Maintenance Technician I Responsibilities:

  • Assist in routine preventive maintenance, work orders, and the installation of new equipment or systems, offering support to other technicians during equipment breakdowns as directed by the shift Team Leader.

  • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical systems and installing new systems.

  • Support engineering projects for equipment installation, respond to building alarms appropriately, and execute work orders and minor preventive maintenance tasks as per established safety procedures and cGMP requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma minimum.

  • At least one year of mechanic experience or equivalent.

  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Systems preferred.

  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

  • Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
